For almost fifty years Hotel Parco Smeraldo Terme has been a place of magic and innocence. The Iacono family has always cultivated tomatoes, zucchini, eggplant and other vegetables in its piece of land by the beach of Maronti. Today, Roberto Iacono passionately carries on the family tradition at “Tenuta Don Nicola”. Cultivation is done with organic fertilizers and anti-parasites.

The special flavor of the vegetables is due to a mix of elements: the properties of the volcanic soil, the wind blowing from the sea during the day, the fresh breeze that descends from Monte Epomeo at night, and the long exposure to the sun. The hotel’s kitchen relies on daily provisions of produce that are then made into delectable dishes. The perfect flavors to exalt our love of the Ischitan soil.

Weekly tours, on request, of the vegetable garden are available for interested guests.
